This Birth Prep Workshop is led by Dr. Andrea Nied, Pelvic PT and Owner of Movement Physio and Wellness. Also joining us is Sam Ivey, MNT, with Rise & Shine Nutrition.

Sam is the owner of Rise & Shine Nutrition, where she helps women feel their best through personalized, food-first strategies that support balance and long-term health. After recently welcoming her first baby girl, Sam experienced firsthand how powerful nutrition can be during pregnancy and postpartum—for both mama and baby. She has supported many women in easing nausea, boosting energy, and meeting their nutrient needs throughout each trimester.

Sam also contracts with RenewRx, coaching pregnant women with gestational and type 2 diabetes on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support a healthy pregnancy. Her approach emphasizes balance and inclusivity—not restriction. She also weaves in whole-body wellness, like sleep and stress management, with simple, sustainable habits that help women feel their best.
